Art Work Details: Magnus is a docent in an old Jacobite castle in Scotland.  It is the oldest inhabited castle in Scotland, originally owned by the kings of Scotland. It later became the home of the Earls of Traquair and is still lived in by the descendants of the Maxwell Stuart family.   Magnus greeted us as we entered, and it was a combination of his laughter, his smile and his position which inspired this painting.
