Art Work Details: Inspired by a hike in rural Scotland in the summer of 2018, I combined a realistic treatment of perspective with a color scheme which is not normally found in the Highlands.    Loch Katrine is a peaceful mountain lake, surrounded by misty hills, but in this painting, I created fire in the hills with the use of a limited color palette.
